The CThA is a leading professional multi-disciplinary association representing Complementary Therapists, Sports and Spa Therapists in the UK and Ireland.

CThA is passionate about ensuring that complementary therapies are recognised for their value in the health sector and as such works very closely with the Complementary and Natural Health Council (CNHC) to ensure that members have a direct route to access their register if they choose to work in mainstream healthcare.

Members come from a diverse range of backgrounds and specialties and they are able to offer them a wealth of experience and support through their Council of specialists, as well as through their local and regional support groups. Due to their longevity and the high standards of therapists within their membership body they have achieved exemptions from the Special Treatment licenses required in many major cities but in particular the London Boroughs, which can save members up to £1000 per year and a lot of unnecessary administrative stress.
