AFNAT is a federation of naturopathic schools working for the recognition of this discipline. Its mission revolves around three pillars:

- Guarantee the quality of professional training in naturopathy

 - Work for the recognition of training and the profession with and with the bodies concerned

- Facilitate the understanding and promotion of the profession of naturopath by the general public
