Dr Simon Lewis qualified from UCH in 1991. After medical posts, he pursued a career in psychiatry. Since 2000, he has worked at UCLH for two days a week as a consultant in liaison child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr Lewis is particularly interested in physical illness and its psychological sequelae.

Dr Lewis was the clinical lead and consultant psychiatrist at Simmons House adolescent psychiatric unit in North London until 2021.
