Charlotta Martinus

SYT, E-RYT500, Master of Yoga, Director of the TeenYoga charity, Yoga Therapist for Mental Health NHS

Charlotta Martinus has a background as a yoga therapist for suicidal young people at Callington Road Hospital in Bristol as well as many years working in schools, introducing yoga. She worked as a school teacher in Primary and Secondary schools both in the UK and abroad. She has been teaching teens yoga since 2003 and has trained almost 2000 people to share yoga with young people across the world over the past 15 years.  Her book Teenyoga for yoga therapists was published by Hachette in 2018. She is a regular contributor to the BBC and various publications focussing on wellbeing and yoga and young people. She has also trained teachers on the PGCE course at Oxford Brooke’s University. She also speaks at conferences worldwide on the topic. In 2017 she was one of the founder members of the APPG on Yoga in Society, working with parliament to bring yoga into more schools.
