Acupuncture: more than just needles

For many people, acupuncture is simply the insertion of needles. But the traditional therapy, in Chinese zhenjiu, is a much broader concept. Not all needles puncture the skin. Other techniques, such as moxibustion and cupping, are also used. Furthermore, traditional theory provides a means to understand health and illness which can be used as the basis for dietary and other lifestyle advice. This talk will cover the full extent of what acupuncture is, as traditionally practised.
