The clinical utility of methylation testing in patients with mental health disorders
Methylation is a biochemical process that underpins a wide variety of physiological functions, one of which is the production and metabolism of neurotransmitters, which is often why those with mental health conditions may also have methylation defects.
In this presentation, we will explore the value of testing both genomic influences in methylation, as well as metabolites related to methylation, to help guide tailored treatment.
