The differential diagnosis for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) should always include screening for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) which is present in the majority of IBS sufferers.
This presentation will consider the screening options available and provide the latest developments in the testing of breath hydrogen, methane and hydrogen sulphide, with a review of current thinking on the interpretation of these results.
