Acupuncture: primary care and beyond

30 Jun 2023
Moore
Complementary Therapy , Membership Organisation

Many peoples’ experiences or image of acupuncture in the UK will be of one-to-one consultations, accessed privately at complementary health clinics. This talk will look at some of the ways acupuncture is currently being delivered in hospitals and other settings, as well as looking at different modes of delivery such as multibed clinics. We will consider how acupuncture could be more widely used within hospitals: the evidence and rationale for doing so. We will also discuss the pros and cons of acupuncture beyond the one-to-one consultation. The objective is to envisage the future development of acupuncture.
